These gorgeous traditional toys are the perfect introduction to whittling and wood carving and during our one day course Pete will take you through the process of creating your very own horse. Let your imagination and creativity go wild and finish your horse either with a traditional birch bark smoking process or perhaps paint your horse like your very own!
 
We provide all safety equipment including anti-cut gloves and fire gauntlets. This course is for over 16’s due to the nature of the tools required.

One day workshops are held within our studio at the beautiful Sudbury Courtyard, Derbyshire which is set on the edge of the grounds of the National Trust Sudbury Hall and nestled on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The perfect environment for inspiring your creativity.

All materials, tools, lunch and of course lots of cups of tea are provided in the price, so you just need to bring yourself.
